Communication & Dissemination
Dissemination and communication of research knowledge and policy recommendations
Communication and dissemination are key activities of ENBEL, a coordination and support action project bringing together climate and health research and producing actionable knowledge for stakeholders around the world.
The overall aim is to contribute to raise awareness of how climate change impacts human health by demonstrating the linkages between climate and health and show the direct relevance for people’s lives. The communication, dissemination and exploitation activities will ensure that the project delivers expected impacts.
We will:
support the activities in the rest of the project to ensure targeted and wide dissemination and communication of the project and its outputs, including to media and the general public;
disseminate policy briefs and knowledge products and create and disseminate original content based on the work and findings of the consortium through social media, podcast episodes, web, press engagement, newsletters, plain language summaries of research outputs, video and photo stories;
provide capacity building and expand on existing heat-health toolkit by creating synthesis in toolkit format specifically designed and accessible for low- and middle- income country settings, and organize virtual workshops, meetings and events;
build and promote a web platform for management of knowledge on health impacts of climate change by using video, photos, maps and infographics, and connect to existing knowledge management platforms.
organize a final policy conference targeting stakeholders.
